Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Archiet platform, operated by REQARCHITECT LTD. Payments are processed by Flutterwave (primary) and Paystack (fallback) as our merchants of record.

1. Free Trial

All paid plans (Builder, Professional, Team, Agency) include a free plan. No payment information is required to start a trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged for the first billing cycle.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page in your Archiet account. When you cancel:

• You retain full access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period
• Your workspace will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
• Your blueprints, compliance reports, and generated code remain accessible on the Free plan (subject to Free plan limits)
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

First Billing Cycle Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with Archiet within your first paid billing cycle (the first charge after your trial ends), you may request a full refund within 14 days of the charge. No questions asked.

Technical Failure

If Archiet fails to generate a working codebase due to a confirmed platform bug — not a limitation of your input, your LLM provider, or an unsupported use case — you may request a refund within 14 days of the affected charge. We may ask you to provide details of the failure for investigation.

Duplicate Charges

If you are charged twice for the same billing period due to a system error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full automatically. If you notice a duplicate charge that was not automatically refunded, contact us and we will resolve it within 5 business days.

Service Outage

If the Archiet platform is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to an issue on our end (not third-party dependencies), you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period.

4. Quality SLA — Marketplace Purchases

Archiet guarantees every marketplace template scores 80/100 or above on our quality gate. If your generated ZIP scores below 80, you are entitled to a full refund — no questions asked.

Quality is measured at delivery time across four dimensions: build integrity, security posture, production readiness, and PRD fidelity. The score appears on the download page and in your ZIP's QUALITY_REPORT.md.

Quality SLA Refund Process

If your artifact scores below 80:

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Quality Refunds in your Archiet account.
2. Select the artifact and click Request Refund.
3. The refund is processed automatically via Stripe. Expect 5-10 business days on your statement.

Quality SLA refunds are available for 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, standard marketplace refund terms apply.

Other Marketplace Refund Conditions

Beyond the quality SLA, marketplace purchases are also eligible for refund when:

• The generated code fails to build when following the included README instructions (platform bug, not input limitation)
• The purchase was made in error (e.g. wrong template selected) — request within 24 hours

Refunds are not available for marketplace purchases after 30 days, or if the generated code has already been deployed to a production environment.

5. Agency Plan

Agency plan subscribers delivering solutions to clients under white-label are subject to the same refund terms. Refunds apply to the agency's subscription itself. REQARCHITECT LTD is not responsible for refund disputes between the agency and its end clients.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months. If you cancel an annual subscription:

• Within the first 30 days: eligible for a full refund minus any usage during the period
• After 30 days: no refund, but you retain access for the remainder of the 12-month period

7. How to Request a Refund

Email accounts@archiet.com with:

• Your account email address
• The date of the charge
• The reason for your refund request
• Any relevant screenshots or error messages (for technical failure claims)

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Flutterwave or Paystack, whichever processed the original transaction.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• LLM API costs incurred on your own provider accounts (these are billed by Anthropic, OpenAI, etc. — not by us)
• Charges for previous billing periods that were not disputed within 30 days
• Marketplace purchases after 30 days (see the Quality SLA in section 4)
• Enterprise plan custom agreements (governed by individual contract terms)
