Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Archiet platform, operated by REQARCHITECT LTD. Payments are processed by Paddle as our merchant of record.

1. Free Trial

All paid plans (Builder, Professional, Team, Agency) include a free plan. No payment information is required to start a trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged for the first billing cycle.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page in your Archiet account. When you cancel:

• You retain full access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period
• Your workspace will revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
• Your blueprints, compliance reports, and generated code remain accessible on the Free plan (subject to Free plan limits)
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

First Billing Cycle Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with Archiet within your first paid billing cycle (the first charge after your trial ends), you may request a full refund within 14 days of the charge. No questions asked.

Technical Failure

If Archiet fails to generate a working codebase due to a confirmed platform bug — not a limitation of your input, your LLM provider, or an unsupported use case — you may request a refund within 14 days of the affected charge. We may ask you to provide details of the failure for investigation.

Duplicate Charges

If you are charged twice for the same billing period due to a system error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full automatically. If you notice a duplicate charge that was not automatically refunded, contact us and we will resolve it within 5 business days.

Service Outage

If the Archiet platform is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to an issue on our end (not third-party dependencies), you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period.

4. Marketplace Purchases

One-time marketplace purchases (Single Solution, Domain Bundle, All-Access) are digital goods delivered immediately upon payment. These purchases are eligible for a 7-day money-back guarantee under the following conditions:

• The generated code does not meet the quality score advertised on the marketplace listing
• The generated code fails to build or run when following the included README instructions
• The purchase was made in error (e.g., wrong template selected)

Refunds are not available for marketplace purchases after 7 days, or if the generated code has been deployed to a production environment.

5. Agency Plan

Agency plan subscribers delivering solutions to clients under white-label are subject to the same refund terms. Refunds apply to the agency's subscription itself. REQARCHITECT LTD is not responsible for refund disputes between the agency and its end clients.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months. If you cancel an annual subscription:

• Within the first 30 days: eligible for a full refund minus any usage during the period
• After 30 days: no refund, but you retain access for the remainder of the 12-month period

7. How to Request a Refund

Email accounts@archiet.com with:

• Your account email address
• The date of the charge
• The reason for your refund request
• Any relevant screenshots or error messages (for technical failure claims)

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Paddle.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• LLM API costs incurred on your own provider accounts (these are billed by Anthropic, OpenAI, etc. — not by us)
• Charges for previous billing periods that were not disputed within 30 days
• Marketplace purchases after 7 days
• Enterprise plan custom agreements (governed by individual contract terms)
